The replacement of the old Synta EQ5 mount with Vixen's GPE Polaris has been a major step forward in engineering accuracy and stability. The Polaris mounts of Vixen have a worldwide reputation for quality and reliability. We believed the OMC140 deserved this added improvement, we now offer a totally new model, the OMC140GP on the GPE Polaris mount.

We are sure you will be delighted with the performance of the standard model GPE mounted telescope., the upgraded model, will absolutely amaze you. The GP model is based on Vixen's rigid P90 varnished hardwood tripod and their GP Polaris mount in its economy configuration. All the features of the standard GP mount less polar finder and setting circles, both of which, if required, can be fitted later in minutes by yourself.
