This C Mount adapter allows you to connect any "C" or "CS" mount video camera (typically these are used as Many digital cameras have no filter threads on the lens. Though we do carry a number of Digi-T kits which support non-threaded cameras (by including clip-on adapters) it is impractical to make a Digi-T system for all possible cameras. If a Digi-T kit is available for your camera we recommend it since it is a thread on and go solution (not requiring any adjustments). If your camera is not supported by the Digi-T system (or if you use several different cameras) the EZ-Pix is a universal solution that fits virtually any digital camera.
EZ-Pix is the original universal digital camera holder with thousands sold since 1996. Unlike cheap imitations EZ-Pix includes a dual locking collar system on the pivot bar. The dual locking collars "sandwich" the slide bar on either side. This serves 2 very important functions...first it makes the slide bar much more stable with heavier cameras...second it makes returning the camera to the same position after an eyepiece change much faster and easier. For striking lunar and planetary photography use select 1 1/4'' eyepieces in the EPA to increase the magnification factor of your telescope by 4.9 to 28.7 times.
The lower barrel holds the 1 l/4" eyepiece. The top half is threaded for standard 35mm camera T-rings. Both parts are anti-reflection threaded to maximize contrast. Lock the two halves together and the EPA is as solid as a single unit. Attaches to 1 1/4" focusers by the eyepiece barrel or to 2" focusers by the 2" O.D. of the EPA. The top half can double as a prime focus adapter when used with Tele Vue 2" or 3" extension tubes.
